Even Cliff Dwellers Need a Barn : I wanted to design a structure to experiment with some construction methods such as: below-grade, straw-bale walls, water-reservoir green roof, photovoltaic power, thermosiphon warmed drinking water. So the barn is itself an engineering lab. And the goats get a new barn! Here is the construction history of the barn. Hope you like it as much as our goats do.
